We operate the website https://med-way.uk (the 'Site'), as well as any other related products and services that refer or link to these legal terms (the 'Legal Terms') (collectively, the 'Services').
These Legal Terms constitute a legally binding agreement made between you, whether personally or on behalf of an entity ('you'), and MedWay, concerning your access to and use of the Services. You agree that by accessing the Services, you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by all of these Legal Terms. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE WITH ALL OF THESE LEGAL TERMS, THEN YOU ARE EXPRESSLY PROHIBITED FROM USING THE SERVICES AND YOU MUST DISCONTINUE USE IMMEDIATELY.
Supplemental terms and conditions or documents that may be posted on the Services from time to time are hereby expressly incorporated herein by reference. We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to make changes or modifications to these Legal Terms from time to time. We will alert you about any changes by updating the 'Last updated' date of these Legal Terms, and you waive any right to receive specific notice of each such change. It is your responsibility to periodically review these Legal Terms to stay informed of updates. You will be subject to, and will be deemed to have been made aware of and to have accepted, the changes in any revised Legal Terms by your continued use of the Services after the date such revised Legal Terms are posted.
Our Services are intended for users who are at least 13 years of age. All users who are minors in the jurisdiction in which they reside (generally under the age of 18) must have the permission of, and be directly supervised by, their parent or guardian to use the Services. 1. Our Services
MedWay provides an online interview preparation platform for applicants to UK medical and dental schools. Our Services include access to interview resources, practice materials, mock interview content, model answers, mark schemes, and one-to-one tutoring options. The information provided through the Services is intended for educational and preparation purposes only and does not constitute professional medical, legal, or careers advice.
The Services are not tailored to comply with any jurisdiction-specific professional regulatory requirements beyond those applicable in England and Wales. Those who choose to access the Services from outside the United Kingdom do so on their own initiative and are solely responsible for compliance with local laws.
2. Intellectual Property Rights
Our intellectual property
We are the owner or the licensee of all intellectual property rights in our Services, including all source code, databases, functionality, software, website designs, audio, video, text, photographs, graphics, interview questions, model answers, mark schemes, and other materials in the Services (collectively, the 'Content'), as well as the trademarks, service marks, and logos contained therein (the 'Marks'). Our Content and Marks are protected by copyright and trademark laws in the United Kingdom and around the world.
The Content and Marks are provided in or through the Services 'AS IS' for your personal, non-commercial use only. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, sell, publish, or share any Content, including but not limited to interview questions, model answers, or mark schemes, without our express prior written permission.
Your use of our Services
Subject to your compliance with these Legal Terms, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Services solely for your personal, non-commercial interview preparation purposes.
Any breach of these Intellectual Property Rights will constitute a material breach of our Legal Terms and your right to use our Services will terminate immediately.
Your submissions and contributions
By directly sending us any question, comment, suggestion, idea, or feedback about the Services ('Submissions'), you agree to assign to us all intellectual property rights in such Submission. You agree that we shall own this Submission and be entitled to its unrestricted use and dissemination for any lawful purpose, commercial or otherwise, without acknowledgment or compensation to you.
3. User Representations
By using the Services, you represent and warrant that:
- All registration information you submit will be true, accurate, current, and complete;
- You will maintain the accuracy of such information and promptly update such registration information as necessary;
- You have the legal capacity and you agree to comply with these Legal Terms;
- You are not under the age of 13;
- You are not a minor in the jurisdiction in which you reside, or if a minor, you have received parental permission to use the Services;
- You will not access the Services through automated or non-human means, whether through a bot, script, or otherwise;
- You will not use the Services for any illegal or unauthorised purpose; and
- Your use of the Services will not violate any applicable law or regulation.
If you provide any information that is untrue, inaccurate, not current, or incomplete, we have the right to suspend or terminate your account and refuse any and all current or future use of the Services (or any portion thereof).
4. User Registration
You are required to register to access the full Services. You agree to keep your password confidential and will be responsible for all use of your account and password. We reserve the right to remove, reclaim, or change a username you select if we determine, in our sole discretion, that such username is inappropriate, obscene, or otherwise objectionable. You must not share your account credentials with any other person or allow any other person to access the Services using your account.
5. Access and Pricing
Access to the full MedWay platform is provided at a one-time fee of £30 (or such other price as displayed on our Site at the time of purchase, inclusive of any applicable VAT). This fee grants you personal, non-transferable access to the platform content for the access period specified at the time of purchase.
All products and access tiers are subject to availability. We reserve the right to discontinue, modify, or update any product or access tier at any time for any reason. Prices are subject to change and any changes will be communicated on our Site before they take effect.
Your access is for your sole personal use. Sharing access credentials, providing access to third parties, or giving protected content (which sits behind the paywall) away for free or posting it on public platforms constitutes a material breach of these Legal Terms and will result in immediate termination of your account without refund.
6. Purchases and Payment
We accept the following forms of payment:
- Visa
- Mastercard
- Apple Pay
- and other methods as displayed at checkout.
You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate purchase and account information for all purchases made via the Services. All payments shall be in Pounds Sterling (GBP). We may change prices at any time; updated prices will be displayed on the Site prior to purchase.
You agree to pay all charges at the prices then in effect for your purchases and you authorise us to charge your chosen payment provider for any such amounts upon placing your order. We reserve the right to correct any errors or mistakes in pricing, even if we have already requested or received payment.
We reserve the right to refuse any order placed through the Services. Payments are processed by a third-party payment provider; we do not store your card details.
7. Refunds Policy
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your purchase within 14 days of the date of purchase (the 'cooling-off period') and receive a full refund, provided that you have not yet accessed any digital content.
If you request immediate access to the platform content before the 14-day cooling-off period has expired, and you acknowledge at the point of purchase that doing so waives your right to cancel and receive a refund, then no refund will be issued once access has been granted.
If you have not accessed any content and wish to cancel within 14 days, please contact us at hello@med-way.uk and we will process your refund within 14 calendar days. Refunds will be made to the original payment method.
Outside of the statutory 14-day period, or where you have waived your right to cancel having accessed the content, all sales are final and no refund will be issued. If you believe there is a fault with the Services, please contact us and we will endeavour to resolve the issue in accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
8. Voice Recording and Analytics
Voice Recording
Certain features of our Services allow you to record your voice for the purposes of interview practice and feedback. By using these features, you expressly consent to the recording of your voice.
Voice recordings are used solely for the purpose of generating practice feedback within the platform. All voice recordings are automatically and permanently deleted within 24 hours of creation. We do not retain, share, or use voice recordings for any purpose beyond that stated above.
You may withdraw your consent to voice recording at any time by choosing not to use the relevant features. Withdrawal of consent does not affect your access to other parts of the platform. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for full details of how voice recording data is processed.
Performance Analytics
Our Services include in-house analytics that track and record your performance scores and progress through practice materials. This data is used to provide you with personalised insights and to improve the platform.
Performance data linked to your account is personal data and is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and UK GDPR. You may request access to, or deletion of, your performance data at any time by contacting us at hello@med-way.uk.
Aggregate, anonymised analytics data (not linked to any individual) may be used by us for platform improvement and reporting purposes.

If you believe that any material available on or through the Services infringes upon any copyright you own or control, please notify us immediately at hello@med-way.uk. Please note that pursuant to applicable law you may be held liable for damages if you make material misrepresentations in a notification of copyright infringement.
16. Term and Termination
These Legal Terms shall remain in full force and effect while you use the Services. WITHOUT LIMITING ANY OTHER PROVISION OF THESE LEGAL TERMS, WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO, IN OUR SOLE DISCRETION AND WITHOUT NOTICE OR LIABILITY, DENY ACCESS TO AND USE OF THE SERVICES TO ANY PERSON FOR ANY REASON, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION FOR BREACH OF ANY REPRESENTATION, WARRANTY, OR COVENANT CONTAINED IN THESE LEGAL TERMS OR OF ANY APPLICABLE LAW OR REGULATION. 19. Dispute Resolution
Informal Negotiations
To expedite resolution and control the cost of any dispute, controversy, or claim related to these Legal Terms (each a 'Dispute'), the parties agree to first attempt to negotiate any Dispute informally for at least thirty (30) days before initiating formal proceedings. Such informal negotiations commence upon written notice from one party to the other.
Formal Proceedings
If informal negotiations fail to resolve the Dispute, either party may bring the matter before the courts of England and Wales, which shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer protection rights you may have under applicable law. Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking urgent injunctive or other equitable relief from a court of competent jurisdiction.

22. Limitations of Liability
IN NO EVENT WILL WE OR OUR DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE TO YOU OR ANY THIRD PARTY FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFIT, LOST REVENUE, LOSS OF DATA, OR OTHER DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any cause whatsoever, regardless of the form of the action, will at all times be limited to the amount paid by you to us in the six (6) month period prior to any cause of action arising. Nothing in these Legal Terms shall limit or exclude our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by English law.
23. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold us harmless, including our subsidiaries, affiliates, and all of our respective officers, agents, partners, and employees, from and against any loss, damage, liability, claim, or demand, including reasonable legal fees and expenses, made by any third party due to or arising out of: (1) your Contributions; (2) use of the Services; (3) breach of these Legal Terms; (4) any breach of your representations and warranties set out in these Legal Terms; (5) your violation of the rights of a third party, including but not limited to intellectual property rights; or (6) any harmful act toward any other user of the Services.
